It's almost never ok to pirate a game. The only exceptions would be when you want to play a classic that is too expensive used, like Contra Hard Corps, or Super Metroid. There are hundreds and hundreds of games out there. Many of them are only a few bucks. So the "I'm too poor, and need entertainment" argument doesn't stand. If you can afford, electrictiy, or food, or a car, then you can afford a $5 - $10 game at the used game store, or on steam, or on G.O.G.
