Well, at least we freed up 14 million of cap space, so it's not all that bad I guess...hopefully we can get #1 draft pick now, as well as a whole bunch of younger players.

It especially hurts the Canucks that they won't be able to get any trades out of it since they're leaving. Vancouver should have started rebuilding years ago.

Yeah, I agree. The Canucks management has been trash for the last few years, just refusing to do an actual rebuild
