Yes it does, provided that you're getting ripped off when buying it (unless you're talking about a second hand or old console).

You don't need such a fancy graphics card to surpass PS3/360 graphics. For $700-$800 you can build a great gaming PC including a Blu-Ray drive if you want to :P
