Bayern annihilating Dortmund 6-0 is a huge scoreline.

A loss for Dortmund that was even more embarrassing than Cologne's 0-6 in Hoffenheim. At least Cologne trailed only 0-1 at halftime, but Dortmund was already down five goals at that point.

Since Schalke won, Bayern still hasn't officially won the league. It will probably happen this week though, because now things are at the point where Schalke has to win everything and Bayern has to lose every game.

Bremen won on Sunday and improved to 36 points which will be enough to avoid relegation this season. Cologne ruined their goal difference while their three main competitors all played a draw.

Matchday 29 has an interesting slate of games. There are six teams left battling against relegation. Hannover (32 points) hosts Bremen on Friday. Freiburg (30) hosts Wolfsburg (26) while Cologne (20) hosts Mainz (26), so four of the six teams play directly against each other. Hamburg (19) hosts Schalke this week, but by that point in time Bayern will probably have crowned themselves champion in Augsburg already.

EDIT: Fun fact about the 2. Bundesliga. Not because I care about the league, but because it is funny.

After 28 of 34 matchdays, the team ranked 4th still plays against relegation to the 3. Bundesliga. Rank 4 at 40 points is ahead of rank 16 by only six points. At the same time, rank 4 trails rank 3 by only five points, so 1. Bundesliga is also a realistic possibility.

Imagine if the 1st division Bundesliga was like that, it would go down as one of the most exciting seasons in history.
