It ll probably come out at some point, just you might have to wait a additional half year, or year's time.
The news that its not comeing to 3DS sucks though.
Because the 3DS models are all backwards compat, to play DS/DSi games, you could play:
DQ4,5,6,9 from the DS And DQ7,8,11 from the 3DS.
It woulda been cool to have DQ4 -> 11 playable on the 3DS.
Sadly thats not going to happend, unless some "fan translation" of the japanese 3DS game is in the works.
