They hold back on cross play, thank god. At the very least they are conservative with the competition, I don't want Live users on my PSN games. I'd assume most PSN players who PAY FOR THE SERVICE don't want the same. Cross play is a ridiculous attempt by MS to get a stake in their failing market share the same way they tried to mirror Sony's mic drop with sharing games at E3 with Backwards compatibility and failed. I pay for PSN, not Live. 

Don't buy into the console wars, having cross play has many more benefits to us than downsides.
