Guess i consider them as good movies to watch once in a while, but almost mediocre games overall. They have everything that makes a movie fun: Great graphics, simple but well written story, good world building and atmosphere. But the barebones and almost on-rails gameplay, which people gloss over because they're so amused by the "spectacle", is what IMO prevents them from being this masterpiece everybody seems to think it is. |
I mostly agree. I think that The Last of Us is a good game but to call it a "masterpiece" is a litte too much. TLOU is the most overrated game in my opinion.
