Mischaracterize? You mean misinterpret? Don't use big words if you don't know what they mean. Also, being "uninformed" isn't an insult dude, it just means you're discussing a topic with no real knowledge pertaining to it and making false assumptions.

Zelda isn't psuedo RPG, it's not RPG at all. It's not an RPG even in a general sense much in the same way Ninja Gaiden wasn't - which is also an Action/Adventure game. Would you call that psuedo RPG? Of course not...
