Erm no thanks, I would love to see more from Rare. And as much as you hate the game, others actually love it. Its unique and something new. I much rather more risks like SoTs than the same old sequels we get every year.

Why would you support shutting down a studio?

I'm not even invested in the game ...

And I support studio's producing the best results they can, everything else is secondary and Rare has been on a bad streak lately ...

his philosophy is that "the developers are only as good as their last release"(paraphrasing). Its obviously a very flawed philosophy because if studios were shut down after one bad outing, so many great games we know and love wouldn't exist.

It still remains true and I didn't imply that a studio can't redeem itself but right now Rare is sub-par considering their pedigree and the same goes for many other developers until they learn to standout or die trying ...

Rare has been profitable nearly every year while LH was bleeding money. I don't see them closing anytime soon

SoT already surpassed my expectations with over 1m players, I think MS will be happy with it's performance.

It'll be interesting to see the revenue stream of SoT a couple months after the game launches ...
