But I gues we'll have to wait a few generations until it reaches mainstream GPUs in a meaningful capacity. And then the asshat developers would have to jump on it too, which they won't because consoles go up in flames even thinking of raytracing. So yeah, can't wait to see the first fully raytraced game in 2030. |
Hopefully by that time industry will move on to something like voxel octrees.
