Anyway, on other matters.
Anyone else liked-loved BotW story?

I tend to like Zelda stories, but BotW was fantastic.
Awakening in a ruined world after Link and Zelda failures reminded me of the adult part of Ocarina of Time.

Don't know anyone else, but I believe the story will fit great on a tv series or even a film, with the climax being the awakening of the Calamity Ganon, guardians destroying Hyrule and the divine beasts attacking their own masters.

And the ending will be sad but perfect with Link in the the Chamber of Resurrection while Zelda awaits on the castle fighting the calamity.

Coincidentally I watched a youtube video of all the memories (including the DLC ones) and the full ending in order, and it actually makes for a cool short film sort of thing. People say the story is lacking, but really it's just that it doesn't seem much during a 100/200 hour game. If you watch everything in one go, it's actually pretty good.

Yeah, I loved the story. It was bittersweet and nostalgic, and above all else wistful. There is a pervasive sense of loss and regret in the game.

Best of all, you can absorb the story at your leisure; it's not at all intrusive.
