I must admit that the word "triggered" has unfortunately become exactly that for me lol... There are legitimate "triggers" for severely traumatized people, but we've so abused the word that it's now used for anything that one finds sad, annoying, or distasteful.
I sympathize with the OP though... People really DO need to calm the heck down and stop investing so much emotion into the opinions and words of others on the anonymous cesspool that is the internet.
