I have a question about the ending of Ghostbusters. (ZOMG Spoilers!!!)

It starts with Ray and Peter shooting at each other about 5 or 6 feet out, and then Winston and Egon join in, and there's a close-up, and they totally touch all 4 of them, and if they don't, they're like millimeters apart.
