'Lack' probaby isnt the best term but it's just being selective.
Personally, none of the local MP games that the Switch currently has appeals to me. I'm just waiting for a new Mario Party and NSMB for some 4 player action.
With the Switch being flooded with remasters and ports I was hoping the Mario Party Top 100 game would've been one to come to the Switch but doesn't seem like that will happen anytime soon.
I do feel the OP with the Wii U being a great party system. I still have mine hooked up and play it often when I have parties as my place.
