On the Direct, people on this site in another thread complain about opposite things:
1. that there weren’t enough games
2. That’s the games didn’t look interesting enough

Both of these are kind of false:
A. it is one of the strongest lineups of games Nintendo has ever had on a standard Direct, and
B. one of the largest lineups of games Nintendo has ever had on a Direct.

There’s only three ways to solve this:
1. Add more games, thus, even less time for each game in the direct. There are lots of games that could have been on the Direct that weren’t.
2. IMO the games are plenty interesting, but didn’t get enough time to show off why they are interesting to people who are incapable of researching available information on their own.
3. Add more games + give them more time = MUCH longer Direct + way more production. Probably unfeasible.

It’s kind of like last year how people on this site said there was nothing interesting on Switch after the January presentation and Directs - but when it was all said and done those same people are now claiming 2017 as one of Nintendo’s best years ever. Even though the 2017 games involved a lot of ports, no one minded in the end; and Mario Kart 8 is the second best selling game on the console, and third highest rated.

I am convinced there is a sect of Nintendo “fans” on this site addicted to being negative about Nintendo when they are successful. I am willing to bet that they either A. Think Gamecube was Nintendo’s best console, or B. Think Wii U was Nintendo’s best console.

Or maybe, and just maybe, people are not that excited about games that they already played on PS4 or PC.I mean, thats just a possibility, cant be totally sure of that.It could also be because they didnt have a good childhood.

People were dissapointed with the direct, not sad.Nintendo year will still be decent to good, depending on what is announce for the second half.Next time you go somewhere to complain, answer people quoting you, instead of going somewhere else where everyone thinks like you do.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
