I don't know why people are so surprised, to be honest. The analogs are great, but that's really the only good thing about the Xbox One controller. The bumpers are too clicky, the triggers are too mushy, the face buttons are soft, and the d-pad sucks. 

The shape is great and the analog sticks are arguably the best ever. That's really all it has going for it; just so happens to be the two things that are the easiest and most prevalent to experience when you hold the controllers by default. 

This. It's kinda not great for fighting games (which i love) so its not a perfect controller by any means. But i dont think such a controller exists
