Ok I am going to stop half way. I cant be bothered reading all that. Let me just prove your points wrong yet again in what I read.

1st - The term *No Exclusives* means No Exclusives, maybe next time use the term some Exclusives or Exclusives you are clearly are not interested in. I don't change the meaning of words based off random internet phrases. I mention exclusive games so your point is false. Like it or leave it. No Exclusives means no Exclusives. X1 offers some old games you cant get anymore which in terms makes it exclusive to X1. EG -  Rare's Replay and Halo MCC offers over 35+ games you cant get anymore or anywhere else, that alone is 35 of some of the best games ever made on 1 platform running at there best. That number 35, ill let that sink in a little next time you say X1 has no games. And that's just 2 games I mentioned.

2nd - You mention PS4 runs games better (Base model) yet you seem happy to play X1 games on a low end PC? Which I will gather is less powerful than a X1X so there's contradiction right there. Power shouldn't be a factor if you are happy to game on a low end PC or base model consoles. The X solves your problem. That's a choice you choose to ignore.

3rd - You are complaining about $29 battery pack? haha okay.. What's even sadder is that you say the PS4 offers more features on there controller like the touch pad and Switch with its Amiibo feature.. okay, it has a touch pad that not many gamers probably give a damn about and Switch Amiibos doesn't add much for those who aren't into Amiibos. Did you choose to ignore the X1's Rumble Triggers? Or does your room mate not let you play his X1? Because that's exactly how it sounds.

4th - Some gamers prefer Batteries in there controllers rather than a built in Battery pack. X1 Controller at least gives you the option rather than forcefully giving you no choice. If that battery dies in your PS4 Controller, you have to buy a whole new controller while the X1 wont have that problem hence why its a better idea to have the option. Also the Battery life in the PS4's controller is very poor and you cannot increase that without modding the controller yourself.

5th - Okay so you have internet issues with your X1.. guess what? I don't, and I have my Switch, X1 and PC all plugged into the same modem. Again get that checked because that's a personal issue not a whole world scale issue.

6th - It sounds like you don't like Xbox from the start and you seem to have all bases covered with your PC being the replacement for it.. soooo who's X1 is that in the Photo you linked? that's a better question. My sister has a PS4 and Pro in her room, I could easily take a photo and say its mine just to shut you up, but I don't need to go to those measures. Why even own a X1 if you have a PC, why did you buy one? why haven't you sold it yet? A lot of questions are coming out because it doesn't sound like you own that console, sounds like you have to share your living space with someone who owns a X1. Heck you didn't even mention the rumble triggers built into the X1 controller when you compared controllers. I am not buying your story.

Dare me to continue?

I am not here to nitpick you, I am curious to know what your answers mean without putting on the glasses.

All corporations get greedy and will try to drain you of your wallet. PlayStation just took MP away from you this gen and forced you to pay them, why? Because MS does it? Do they even have the same quality Server Network MS has? Far from it yet they will charge you for a less secured network with no dedicated servers for there games etc. At least with MS they are providing us the best the industry has to offer when it comes to the online infrastructure. All brands have there benefits and that is no doubt Xboxes strength.

If you don't like the X1, just say so. However these reasons don't make sense.

Naw, I'm just going to stop you there. It appears you have no idea what thread you're in, or what you're talking about, or the nature of the internet. This thread is not 'vehemently defend the Xbox One', it's 'why don't you have an xbox' and while I do own an Xbox One, my post was to explain why I don't use it; I never intended this to be some sort of all-out attack on Xbox players or to tell people they were wrong for liking something I don't. This isn't about grasping at straws to devalue someone else's opinions, yet here you are trying your best to tell me I'm wrong in my reasons why I never play on my xbox One.

Your counterpoints are so far removed from the point that there's no point in responding to you further. Seriously, you're trying to argue that xbox has exclusives by saying 'Rare Replay has a bunch of games in it'. That is such a weak, shoddy, nothing argument that I have nothing to say to it because it has no bearing on reality. You can nitpick and whine about semantics all you want, but it just makes you look like you're a fool who has no REAL arguments so you're arguing REALLY hard on the incredibly weak ones to pretend they carry any weight.

And the final straw in this farce of a discussion is that you seem fixated on the ownership of my Xbox One. Yes I own an Xbox One. No I don't need to prove that. Why in the world would I borrow my roommate's Xbox One, hook it up and perfectly align it alongside my WiiU and Ps4,  and let it collect dust on my shelf for the sake of a petulant argument on the internet? Sounds to me like you've concocted a conspiracy just to disprove my points, which is strange, to say the least.

My point was, from the very first post I made in this thread, that I don't play my Xbox One because it doesn't have exclusives I care about, the few exclusives it does have doesn't interest me, multiplatform games play better on my Ps4, I like the features of the Switch and PS4 controllers more, in canada the price of the controllers was more expensive on Xbox One at the time of purchase, Microsoft has not impressed me, and the various network issues I've had.

My reasons for not playing it. MINE.

I am not speaking on behalf of everyone. This isn't a 'convince xbox players to not like xbox' thread, yet you seem to think that me not finding value in the Xbox One somehow challenges your personal opinions on the matter. For some inexplicable reason, you've gone crazy because I used the term 'no exclusives' to describe my reasons when the more technical term is 'so few exclusives it might as well have none'. Despite me explaining to you how the term is used (Be it facetiously or seriously), you're still fixated on it because the only arguments you have are irrelevant to the point.

You can continue if you want, but your fixation with my ownership of the Xbox One and your pathetic clinging to the imagined errors in my terminology has shown you're not interested in discussion, but some sort of fantasy victory over me. I have no interest in further interaction with you if you can't have a discussion like a big boy.

Adieu.
