I have had days where I have to fast 12hrs and eat vegan diet only. Drink lot of water through out the day. TBH I felt very active all day. It takes some time to get used to it but I do not think any research is needed when you can feel your body is feeling better. Vegan lifestyle is definitely far healthier

I stopped eating meat in 2005. Been doing IF(intermittent fasting) on a Vegan diet for a little over a year now and love it. Though I do 18 hours fasting and eat in a 6 hour window.
