It's not. The media just knows it makes them money.
Heck look at this thread. Just the thread title alone leads to how many replies from people arguing back and forth from all non-racists people trying to argue that one another is more or less racists than the other person.
Doesn't matter what the topic is about, people will sit and argue saying "I'm not racists, you are" and try to point to some other article, google search, survery, study, ect ot prove their point. Then the other person go does the same thing.
