Might I ask, who do you think he would be referring to as enacting themselves as president for life?  Himself or a future president?

Don't say "I don't know"  I want you to actually choose who you truly think he had in mind.

I don't think he had anyone in mind. I think he said it to try and impress or complement Xi and the Chinese. 

I also think it was a pretty dumb comment, for what it's worth.
