I doubt World would have been that much different if it had been designed to run on the Switch from the start, the major differences would have been behind the scenes and not noticeable to the player, more how the game is developed/rendered/loaded etc, then the actual result we play.

This is what i meant.Whatever the next MH ends up being, and will probably just be some kind of expansion, "lower effort" game that uses pre existing World asset and ideas, to be made for all platforms.Its simply easier and more economically viable than just making a separate game for just one single platform.

Do we even know how long it took for them to make MHW?
