Wow, server side calculated physics? I'd be amazed if I hadn't played Rocket League for over 2 years.
Seriously, this is nothing but a marketing fluff piece. Literally every online game out there uses "the cloud" in some capacity, which itself is just a fancy word for an online server. What you can do with it is of course limited and Microsoft isn't using any magic in their cloud. What they do literally anyone can do and they do it without making a big deal out of it.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
