I used to live near Chicago and still know people from there. Yeah people not liking Trump is common there. However urban areas are usually not fond of Trump. If you go to more rural area it is actually harder to find someone who doesn't like Trump. I wouldn't use personal experience as evidence too much.
Anyway I am waiting until Trump actually does something before I make any judgments. I usually do not play Rated M games anyway so a tax on them wouldn't really effect me. I think what would be more interesting is the affects of it. I can see companies toning down the game so they don't get taxed. In movies you cannot watch a rated R movie without being a certain age. This causes companies to tone it down to a PG-13 rating. We could live in very interesting times since companies are very against a price rise from the $60 price tag.
