How long do you expect PS3 support to last for? The console will be 12 and a half years old when PS+ support ends.

As long as people have the hardware and are willing to pay for ps+, then Sony should continue to support it. Sony is pretty much saying “gimmi $299 in the next 12 months or eff off”.
