Whether you are straight or gay does not matter as much as the greater threats. We live in 2018 and there is a greater acceptance of people of difference sexuality and difference ethnicities/religions. The bigger threats are terrorism it gets mentioned 24/7 by media and governments in reported terrorist attacks the media hype up for ratings. The media keeps people in a chronic state of panic and fear makes it easier for the government to control and implement new laws to keep us safer. |
In Brazil it's 10x more likely to be killed if you are a man instead of a woman and 26x more likely to be killed being straight instead of gay... but to our media we are on a homofobic and feminicide (they coined the term) killing spree.
