I make a lot of predictions and I am wrong all the time.
Most recently my arguments for MHW digital being not above 30% in Japan. I was very wrong.
For 2017 I predicted the entire gen to have weaker sales with the Switch having decent sales, basically taking the sales away from other consoles. I was wrong, most consoles did far better than I expected and even a few peaks, while the Switch sold magnificently.
