- Kirby Star Allies - Nintendo Labo starter and Robot (definitely not interested) - Mario Tennis (depending on reviews/amount of content) - Yoshi Switch - Project Octopath Traveler - Fire Emblem (mainline) (basically a guaranteed purchase) - Travis Strikes Again :No More Heroes - Metroid Prime 4 (2019) - Bayonetta 3 (2019) - Shin Megami Tensei V (2019 - wasn't there a recent report development is only just properly underway?) - Ridge Racer 8 (maybe) - Runner 3 - Animal Crossing (if it happens, yes) -Pokemon Switch (I think this is likelier in 2018 than Bayonetta 3 or Prime 4 - it will be a higher priority for Nintendo) -Smash 5 I expect to see Smash 4 DX for Switch this year and would buy it -Mario Kart 9 Kart 8 DX is doing the job - there's no need. |
So there are 6 or 7 likely purchases from that list, and there are some I think we either won't see or won't see until 2019. Honestly, I think people expecting Prime 4 or Bayonetta 3 this year are in for a disappointment - I'm not expecting either until the second half of 2019.
With the addition of stuff like Ys VIII, Dark Souls Remastered, and (hopefully) Dragon Quest XI, there's already a good amount of stuff I'm likely to buy for Switch this year - there's sure to be more announcements, too.
