https://www.pcgamer.com/for-honor-gets-a-new-mode-and-loot-in-the-time-limited-apollyons-legacy-event/
The Apollyon's Legacy time-limited event in For Honor got underway yesterday, featuring a new co-op game mode called Test Your Metal that pits team of four players against the bosses of the game's campaign. These become stronger with each round, and each week of the event will also see more powerful enemies join the fight.

>>The event started on Feb 15, and will last until March 8.

Two Point Hospital's new in-game footage is what you hoped for
https://www.pcgamer.com/two-point-hospitals-new-in-game-footage-is-what-you-hoped-for/
The first of many throwback sims—"our Little Springfield," so says the developer—Two Point Hospital aims to recapture the humour and refined business management mechanics of its source material. And if the latest in-game footage is anything to go by, I reckon it's on the right path to making that happen.

The D.R.G. Initiative devs talk murder game shows at the PC Gamer Weekender
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-drg-initiative-dev-talks-murder-game-shows-at-the-pc-gamer-weekender/
If you could win any prize on your favourite game show, what'd it be? Money? A car? An all-inclusive holiday abroad? The D.R.G. Initiative is a third-person team combat shooter that's set inside a game show where top prize is survival. Yikes.

I've had my eye on serene platformer Fe for a while now. In it, you explore a beautiful world and solve puzzles by singing to gain the trust of nearby animals (here's five minutes of gameplay, in case you're curious). It came out this week, and will set you back $20/£18.

JRPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 2 has arrived on PC
https://www.pcgamer.com/jrpg-the-legend-of-heroes-trails-of-cold-steel-2-has-arrived-on-pc/
Localisation studio Xseed Games is doing a stellar job bringing Nihon Falcom's JRPGs to PC, and the latest has just arrived. 2014's The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 2 is now out on Steam, GOG and the Humble Store. It's in no small part thanks to Peter 'Durante' Thoman—the modder that fixed Dark Souls on PC—who has worked with Xseed on numerous ports, including the first Trails of Cold Steel, which came to PC last year (and has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam).

Final Fantasy 15 teases mod support with civilian Cactuars
https://www.pcgamer.com/final-fantasy-15-teases-mod-possibilities-with-civilian-cactuars/
When I interviewed Final Fantasy 15 director Hajime Tabata at Gamescom last year, we spoke about its incoming PC iteration and the effect player-made mods will have on the game.
(...) "With Final Fantasy 15 we went in a slightly different direction, right from the start the way the whole game is structured and created gives each individual player their own individual and unique FF15 journey. I certainly think the modding community is going to resonate with that and the idea that you can change it any way they want is exciting."

Final Fantasy 15 drops two stunning PC trailers ahead of next month's launch
https://www.pcgamer.com/final-fantasy-15-drops-two-stunning-pc-trailers-ahead-of-next-months-launch/
Towards the end of last year, we learned that Final Fantasy 15's minimum PC specs are surprisingly accessible. But if you've got the power to push its boundaries, FF15's Windows Edition has scope to look wonderful.
And if you won't take me on my word, I suggest you check out the duo of trailers that've surfaced from the PC Gamer Weekender 2018.

https://www.pcgamer.com/final-fantasy-15-developers-answer-questions-from-pc-gamer-readers/
Last week, we asked you lot for some Final Fantasy 15-related questions that we'd in turn put to Takeshi Aramaki and Kenichi Shida at the PC Gamer Weekender.
Answering everything from what PC players can expect from the incoming Windows Edition, to where FF15 stands in the overarching series—let us hand you over to the game's technical director and game design manager.

Code Vein will let you summon other players to help in fights, Dark Souls-style
https://www.pcgamer.com/code-vein-will-let-you-summon-other-players-to-help-in-fights-dark-souls-style/
Vampire-themed action RPG Code Vein is already expected to play like an anime version of Dark Souls, and an announcement this week on its co-op system won't do anything to dispel that comparison. Bandai Namco confirmed on Twitter that you'll be able to "send a request in an area that you need help in", after which another player will be able to fight alongside you.
