I mean I still have to use a long knife to get out my GPU because that's the only way to open the plastic lock on the PCIE Slot. Would've been cool to not have to poke a knife in the direction of my mainboard every time I want to touch my GPU.

Anyway, I doubt changing the PCIe slot would give you better performance, which is what I was talking about.

Screwdrivers are too thick and sticks are too short. There is like one millimeter room between the cooler and the GPU backplate.
