When we die, it won't matter.
When your life comes to an end, it won't matter for one, and for another, you'll never know the eventuality of it being around or not.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
