Ubisoft has revealed its Q3 report for 2017-18. According to the French company, the Tom Clancy communities are almost at 60 million unique players and Ghost Recon Wildlands was industry’s seventh best-seller in EMEA and tenth in NCSA in 2017.

As we guessed yesterday, the lack of a weekly sale at GOG was a sign of a bigger sale, and that's exactly what has happened. Head to GOG to check out the new Chinese New Year Sale with over 500 games on sale up to 90% off. And while you do that, don't forget to grab the free giveaway: The King of Fighters 2002. Following Bluehole’s example, Offworld Industries has also banned Reshade from its 50vs50 multiplayer first-person shooter, Squad. However, and contrary to Bluehole, Offworld Industries went one step further and explained why Reshade is not allowed and showcased how cheaters can exploit this tool.

Biomutant, Darksiders 3 and Fade to Silence will receive DRM-free releases on GOG

THQ Nordic has announced that Biomutant, Darksiders 3, This is the Police II and Fade to Silence will be coming to GOG and as with all GOG releases, they will be DRM-free. Although the publisher did not reveal any additional details, our guess is that these games will be simultaneously released on both Steam and GOG.

Launch trailer released for Dynasty Warriors 9

KOEI Tecmo has released the launch trailer for Dynasty Warriors 9. Dynasty Warriors 9 will be the first Dynasty Warriors game with an open-world environment. The game will also introduce a new combat mechanics with the State Combo System. This new system allows players to perform 3 different attack styles: Trigger Attacks, Flow Attacks and Finish Attacks. Each attack deals progressively more damage. Moreover, these attacks aim to create a thrilling and fluid experience unlike any previous entry in the franchise.

Anuman has acquired the rights for Asterix and Obelix, first games coming in Q4 2018

Anuman Interactive today announced that they have signed a licencing agreement with Les Éditions Albert René for the rights to Asterix and Obelix for several video game projects. The first of these games will be released in the 4th quarter of 2018 under the Microïds label.

Microsoft and Rare have unveiled the official PC requirements for Sea of Thieves. According to the companies, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Q9450 or an AMD Phenom II X6 CPU with 4GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 or an AMD Radeon 7750.
