256MB of memory is PS3's 'biggest challenge'

Honestly, the one thing that confused me with the PS3 is why they would release it with less that 1GB of memory ... You have a system that was being launched at $600 and they were unwilling to spend the tiny ammount of money to buy a lot more memory.
