I'm curious to see where the franchise will go next.
In a Xenoblade 3 I would love if they explain the events that lead up to Klaus destroying his original world. Since Xenoblade 2 while gives us a bit more context it does raise more questions about it then we had before.
I also get the feeling that we haven't seen the last of either Shulk or Rex (granted I wouldn't be surprised if Rex is added in the next Smash Bros) but with that voice cameo I just get the feeling that the stories for either of them aren't done yet.
Then of course there is X. We still have no idea if there are plans to continue the story in X, which still weird me out we didn't get a sequel to that instead since that is the only one of these three games to end on a not just a cliffhanger but a too be continued. Of course Takahashi has said he wants the game to be ported to the Switch, so maybe he does have interest in continuing the story he set up in X.
Then there is the artwork they posted a few months ago that could be concept art for their next game which I can easily see being a medieval Xenoblade.
