The least amount of bias will come from a group of people who has experienced VR. Because VR is something that can never be judged without trying, and since many people have yet to try it, their opinions don't mean anything. As a result, anyone who hasn't tried VR, but votes for something rather than just leaving the poll alone, will be injecting complete bias into it.

No.

First: These VR fans are actively seeking our VR special interest groups. Of course they favor VR, otherwise they wouldn't be there. Those who have tried VR and didn't enjoy it are incredibly unlikely to join these groups.

Secondly: These VR fans might not have any experience with 4K.

There is a 0% chance that posting this to a VR fan reddit would see such a poll favor 4K over VR. Than again, that's the result you were looking for, so that's why you posted it there.

Results will be fairer with those who have experienced VR only than those who have experienced 4K only. People know what resolution increases are like, and many more people have seen 4K for themselves than those that have tried VR.

Results would be fairer is it was asked of a general gaming community rather than any VR specific or 4K specfic forums. Kinda like he did here. Unfortunately he didn't get the results he was looking for (4K was beating VR) so he sought out a different community to validate his reasoning. From what I can see, he literally went to all of the major VR subreddits and got their opinions. The comments section on these poll posts are full of people how biased of an opinion he'll get from posting in VR specific subs.

C'est la vie.

so r/ps4 isnt a general gaming community !?

Its posted in r/gaming as well

Posting in r/vive, /psvr and /oculus just make sense because those people actually have first hand expierence with vr

All people here that can afford a vr headset voted for vr obviously. jsut the people that cant afford neither picked 4k because its more similar to the cheap setup they already have so they dont feel they would miss out as much as with vr
