All true, but I just don't want to expect all my favorite games at one event no matter how likely. Less disappointment if that doesn't happen, more excitement if it does.

Based on ARMS June counts as Spring, so Mario Tennis/Hyrule Warriors could release there and the other in April since Labo isn't a traditional game, that's what I assumed was gonna happen atleast. I'd think the July game would also be set, perhaps August aswell if the June game is already decided. If you believe the idea that Nintendo wants a game to coincide with the paid online then the September game might also be set. I wont say these points debunk the rumor by any means, but they're still strange to me.

I looked it up and both Mario Tennis and Hyrule Warriors have yet to be dated.

February - Bayonetta 2
March - Kirby
April - Labo Kit 1 and 2
May - Donkey Kong Country

But the Direct Mini made a cut-off for first party titles in May, so I assume that Mario Tennis and Hyrule Warriors will release before June. Hyrule Warriors is scheduled for March in Japan, but based on precedence of the Wii U game and Fire Emblem Warriors, I expect the Definitive Edition to release roughly one month later, so in April in America and Europe. Mario Tennis is also a likely candidate for April because it makes the most sense; people who scoff at Labo might be interested in Mario Tennis as a more conventional Nintendo game and the other months mentioned above already have such a Nintendo title. I suppose Mario Tennis could also slip into early June and Yoshi moves to July. Perhaps Nintendo's strategy includes the option to push back releases a little bit, depending on how necessary they deem the timing to maintain Switch momentum.

I'd actually expect SSB to land about a month in advance of paid online to maximize its effect, i.e. allow everyone to play it free for a month and get them hooked, then they'll be more ready to buckle up and pay for the subscription.

That could work too, with Hyrule Warriors releasing alongside Kirby in Japan they're not against 2 games in one month, probably as long as one is a port. I think it's safe to assume Yoshi is just floating and can be placed wherever Nintendo sees fit. Yoshi was playable at E3 last year, so for a game like that surely it's pretty much done by now.

That's evil, but so is paid online in general so I could see that.
