You know, Switch being Nintendo's only console means that what was spread across 3DS and Wii U is now on one console. There's much less of a need to spread releases out and there's no reason to sit on games when they can be released and bring in the money. Additionally, not all of those games will release in 2018, just like last year's E3 had more than only 2017 games.

Mario Tennis and Hyrule Warriors are already confirmed for spring (don't know from memory whether it's March, April or May, but their months have been confirmed), but June onwards is still empty. The reason why Yoshi's release month would be known while nothing else is because of June. The further away a game is, the less likely it is to have precise information about it.

All true, but I just don't want to expect all my favorite games at one event no matter how likely. Less disappointment if that doesn't happen, more excitement if it does.

Based on ARMS June counts as Spring, so Mario Tennis/Hyrule Warriors could release there and the other in April since Labo isn't a traditional game, that's what I assumed was gonna happen atleast. I'd think the July game would also be set, perhaps August aswell if the June game is already decided. If you believe the idea that Nintendo wants a game to coincide with the paid online then the September game might also be set. I wont say these points debunk the rumor by any means, but they're still strange to me.
