I can see it. If they want to expand the brand westward, they need to follow the steps of recent successes like MHW, Nier and Nioh. They can re-purpose Yokai Watch to a more traditional RPG (mirroring something along the lines of Ni no Kuni) and use that as the catalyst to expand. It'll work.
