I'm not sure if I have to. I have to measure again but I'm almost sure my case can take 212mm. It might even be able to take 300mm. I wouldn't go short if I didn't have to. But thanks for the reminder, gonna have to check that at home.
I don't know the exact model I have but it's basically this.

As you can see, there is plenty of room at the bottom, even for 320mm GPUs. Since I don't have additional 3.5" drives I can use all of that space.
