Physical > Digital

Well your in the minority, PC gamers would tell you that Physical is irrelevant and growing segment of consoles gamers. Beside, All consoles gamers have some kind of digital content now a day. All DLC, every free games from Deals with Gold and Playstation Plus games.

There always going to be collector edition and some kind of physical good attached with games, but it's inevitable change that the future is digital only.

Physical sales of games are still extremely high, don't think it'll ever be digital only future or at least I hope not. For example, CDs and DVD/BluRay still exist despite online services/apps and piracy cannibalizing sales for about a decade now.  While niche, Vinyl Record sales have hit a new high in 2017 despite it being an outdated type of media (source below), so its safe to say physical games aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
