"The fact that the Pro/X consoles are more expensive justifies the parity of their video games price tag."

You do realise that doesn't make any sense right!? Price point of hardware dont have nothing with price point of game, again Wii at launch had twice lower price point than PS3 and they had same price point of games, now you can regulary buy PS4/XB1 for less money than Switch and that offocurse dont have effect on price point of games.

*snips redundant*

Many wrongs in your post here, lets go over them one at a time.

According to MSRP hardware and software does matter.

1. Cost of manufacturing: Ex: Cartridges the Switch uses cost more to make than Blu-ray discs. The cost of the cart also depends on the size of the cart. Developers working on Switch have to be mindful of the size of the game, because that will determine the cart it'll ship on. Publishers and developers are also free to set the price.

2. Downloaded games: Example: you can buy Puyo Puyo Tetris, or Rime from the eShop for $30, or get a physical version for $40 for the Switch version. PS4/Xbox1/PC is $30.

3. How does manufacturing a game effect PS4/Xbox1 and Pro/X? It doesn't because the cost of manufacturing a bluray disc on either platform is the same. But some multiplat games do cost differently which I've already proven many times.

"But deskpro2k3, why ps3/360 games cost the same huh, huh!?" Well lets not forget the big financial hit Sony took during the PS3 early console war life. Lets not forget HD-DVD vs Bluray format war. Even though Sony won the format war against the cheaper HD-DVD, it crippled Sony, and it's only now they're finally enjoying the profits.

"probably be cheaper" statement:  you're making a fit over a comment based on chance and reasonable observation. C'mon now

Actually nothing isn't wrong in my post, like I wrote, price point of gaming hardware dont have nothing with price point of games. You do realise now you talking about format games that effects price point of some games, not about performance and visuals of games that would need to effect games price point that was your point all the time!? So now you basically changing your goal post. :D

Yeah, cartridges in case of Switch cost more than blu rays and that's why we have few games that are more expensive for Switch compared to PS4/XB1, but that again dont change nothing, AAA Switch games are exactly $60 same like on PS4/XB1 or any other past home console, Fifa, NBA, Skyrim, Doom...they all have launch price on Switch same like they had on PS4/XB1, so even without cartridges prices of games for Switch wouldnt be cheaper compared to PS4/XB1 game price point.
