Album of the Week: Morbid Angel - Covenant (1993)

Yeah, I posted this album a few days ago. Wanna fight me over it? This is one of the best-selling death metal albums of all time, and is it a great one at that! Unlike the previous two albums, this one was performed as a trio. It sounds pretty thrashy to my ears, which may have been why it enjoyed the success that it did. My favourite track? Probably Angel of Disease, that really reminds me of Nocturnus for some reason (maybe it should be the other way around!) But in any case, if you like death metal, you should check this out if you haven't already done so.
