How do the visuals on the Nintendo Switch compare to those of the Xbox 360 & PS3?

I think with pretty much all the 7th gen games that keep getting brought up against the Switch (God of War 3, TLOU, last gen GTA 5, etc) people remember them through rose-tinted goggles because they looked so great at the time, and forget that they have aged since then.

Pretty much this. Like I was saying to SegataSanshiro, they probably let nostalgia get in the way and forget how they looked.
