I certainly don't blame the retailer. It does feel like they're fighting a trend they can't stop, but one cannot expect a person to sell a device that aims to make them irrelevant.
Personally, I'd be willing to pay a bit extra for physical media to persist, but Microsoft and Sony have very clearly been trending towards downloads and streaming for a while now. Wouldn't be surprised if the next consoles were primarily streaming devices at this point.
