When the Brexit happens the consequences for the British economy will be catastrophic, especially for the middle class and lower class.
Some very naive british politicians thought they can get rid of EU but keep the benefits. It is now clear that the EU will not make any concession to them. On the contrary britain must pay billions to the EU breach of contract (mostly money britain got from the EU anyway).
The british politicians are clearly in panic mode now, because even the dumber ones among them realize now how shortsighted the whole "brexit" thing was.
