EA strikes again.I already consider Bioware dead at this point. Its a shame really.

Anyways, by "live" it seems that the next Dragon Age story will be an ongoing experience, in the sense that the story will be updated regulary. In another words, a game as a service game.Even on single player focused games, EA tries to push this bullshit practice. It may be mean to say this, but I hope this approach fails, at least as far as single player games are concerned.

Almost nothing of what you just said is even in the article, much less the tweet.

Its written betwenn the lines.Consider EA recent history with their games and their current goal to implement said type of structure into their games and its fairly easy to predict what the game will turn out to be based on what was said on the article and the tweet, at least how they plan to treat the overall business model for the game.

Im not saying that the updates will be paid DLC, like Destiny, but it will without a doubt implement many stupid measures that will ruin the experience.Be they an incomplete story, that will be trickled through a long time(making for a weak story driven game), or a Destiny style approach, where you pay for each expansion of the story, or simply riddled with microtransactions that will potentially ruin the balance of the game like in Shadow of War, even if in that particular game it was more geared towards the multiplayer aspect of it.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
