Nintendo generally has much better attach rates on their first-party titles, and Zelda is going to have a lot of legs.

It's a bet I'd be up to, anyways.

So how do you explain Skyward Sword?

An Exclusive Zelda game on Wii that had an install base of 90+ million when it was released, and sold...... 4 million copies.

I should have added that BOTW is exceptionally well received, expands beyond the usual audience of Zelda, and more importantly to my previous points, also released early within the system's lifecycle (which increases both legs of a game, and total sales, in general.)

A more adequate comparison would be with Twilight Princess, in terms of expected distribution of sales, (the game sold 4.1 million by the end of 2007, 58 weeks and 2 holidays after it released, and ended up with over 7 million, lifetime, on the wii.) - it's not a far stretch to expect BOTW to double its sales from where it's now.

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.
