Also, VR is always the "expected success" that has sold 2M in 2 years (worse sales than the Vita and the Wii U). It's a disaster. People aren't interested. Shoving it up their throats will only lead the PS5 to fail. I expect Sony to be smarter than that. |
its out 15 months and reached 2 Mio Sales after 13 months while beeing sold out during the first 6 months.
On black fridays and xmas sales it was best selling gaming hardware on amazon as they dropped the price to 199 (outselling both the xbox one x and nintendo switch).
Btw for comparison: The first iPhone sold 1,3 Mio Units in its first year, way less then what Nokia, Motorla and co where selling in 2007. Do you think apple should have stopped making smartphones back in the days because sales "proofed" it would be a complete failure ? Or may new innovative stuff actually take some time go gain momentum?
How much has the first computer sold in its first year ? How much the first mobile phone? How much the first telivision? I doubt any of them came even close to 2 mio sales, all confirmed failures yeah?
