No. There are games that are not suited to or pointless in VR. Classic split screen will always be a selling point for some and old games won't disappear over night.
Most of all, not everyone enjoys VR. I'm a heavy VR enthusiast and also still play without VR. Both can co-exist on the same console, like handheld and tv mode on the Switch. Some games might be able to be enjoyed both ways, some VR only, some screen only (or virtual theater)
Anyway I'm looking forward to psvr 2.0, better resolution, easier setup, stable tracking, controllers with analog sticks, lighter, not hampered by base ps4. I think we'll be stuck with the wire for a while as even though you have wireless solutions, you now have to carry a battery as well. I rather have a lighter headset with a single cable. Perhaps it could be wireless with the option of plugging in a mobile battery pack, an adapter cable, or straight to the ps5 for best picture.
