This thread and OP's attitude are hilarious.

Btw, obviously not. Sony is not crazy and wouldn't want another PSP Go on their hands (a stance where they tried and risked something new/advanced, but ultimately failed because the market wasn't ready).

I bet VR will be a more accessible and better experience on PS5, but Sony wouldn't want to limit their mass appeal to only people that care about VR. There are people that tried and didn't like it, there are people with motion sickness and there are people who would not want to pay more $$$ for something they don't care that much.

Every game being a VR experience would limit graphics A LOT as well. I doubt Sony would want that. The only way to avoid it would be by making an extremely powerful and expensive console. I also doubt Sony would want that.

So... no. I'm 99% sure this won't be the case next generation.

It also won't be the case the gen after next generation, exactly for the reasons you mentioned. No matter how popular VR becomes, and it will become much more popular, it will never come close to full coverage of the gaming market. It's not supposed to either hence why I don't understand why some people seam so scared of it, as if it would take anything away from them. If anything it adds to gaming as a whole.

Exactly. It's an extra to enchance the experience for those who are willing to pay. And Sony is about that: options. That's why it doesn't make sense to force people to pay more for something some may not want/have the means to.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
