I assuming PS5 is no later then November 2020 then 0 chance is will be VR only. I personally love my HTC Vive and depending on the price I upgrade it to the new Vive pro when it comes out. That being said the technology is no where close to being advance/mature enough to be powered by a console by 2020 at a affordable cost. I bought the VIVE knowing that the resolution was not yet high enough for me to never notice the pixels or that even my 1080TI not going to power the kind of graphic I would really like to see in VR. It still not ready for mass consumption through.
Most people I know are wowed the first time they experience the vive but not enough to go out and buy it them selves. Some of them did go get the PSVR since it a lower cost of entry but it something they use once in awhile and not the kind of hours Sony hope to see log on there consoles.
I do believe VR is the future but am thinking more like 2027 then 2020 when it mature enough for a console to be dedicated to it.
